I made these pictures in summer 2003. I went to locations that made a strong impression on me, I placed the camera, opened the shutter and began to act spontaneously, without any planning. During the exposure time I illuminated the situation with a hand-flash. It was for me acting as a medium, manifesting a feeling or a fairly-tale. Like an archetype. All my work is about initial feelings and imaging them. Shall make immediate impression on the observer's subconscious. Want to show an aspect of reality, which is normally hidden behind everyday-life perception. This ranges from showing the amazing beauty in things no-one usually pays attention to - to making pictures which evoke nightmare stories.
